Join creative MSHS members across the state in a front door decorating contest.  It’s a statewide competition to get in a festive winter spirit.  Participants are encouraged to use nature inspired themes with botanical product like greens, berries, dried grasses, etc.  Decorate your front entry to invite your guests for the holidays and all winter long. Inspire your neighbors to do the same!

Click here for a list of Garden Centers who are MSHS commercial members and will have a bountiful selection of spruce tree tops, a variety of evergreen boughs, branches, cones and embellishments for sale to help you create a winning display.  They all offer classes as well.

The deadline to enter is December 15.  The deadline to vote is December 31st.

 As soon as your front door is decorated, send a digital image to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  We will post it on our website www.northerngardener.org for all to see and vote on their favorite entries. The front door displays that have the most votes will receive prizes from several of the participating garden centers and a gift certicate for our gift store.

We will display the photos of the winning doors and homeowners on our website and on our Facebook page.
