Description

In this workshop we will discuss the benefits of starting seeds indoors and construct "mini-greenhouses" out of plastic cups to take home.  Bring your own seeds or use the ones provided. 

Instructor Sarah Halvorson-Fried has home gardening and small-scale commercial organic farming experience. She recently graduated from Macalester College and currently works for Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture and the University of Minnesota's Organic Farm.
