Classes are sponsored by the Minnesota State Horticultural Society, but are held at various locations, as noted. Enrollment is limited, and pre-registration is required. To register, call 651-643-3601 or 800-676-6747, ext 211.
Refunds will not be issued for nonattendance except by cancellation at least one week prior to class. MSHS requires a five-student minimum to hold a class. If a class is going to be cancelled, you will be notified three days prior to the class’s start date. Also, you will get a refund of the fee if MSHS cancels the class.

Location: Minnesota State Horticultural Society classroom
No space for a large garden? No problem. We will show you how to grow vegetables and herbs to use in your kitchen. Learn what and how to grow as well as the basics of the "super foods" such as beans, broccoli, pumpkins, spinach and tomatoes. For a head start, we will send you home with plants and recipes!

| Creating Enchanting Window Boxes and Containers |

Location: Natures Harvest, 320 E Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata.
Window boxes make for lovely little gardens that dress up any house and are just right for experimenting with new plants or making an inspired design statement. Debbie Bradley and Vicky Greer will demonstrate their distinctive methods of creating enchanting window boxes and containers perfect for Minnesota’s ever-changing seasons. All class attendees will receive a 20% discount for plant material in their garden center for the whole day!
Debbie Bradley is owner of Nature’s Harvest, an ivy-covered shop in Wayzata that’s part garden center, part decorating shop, and part floral store. Designer Vicky Greer of Nature’s Harvest is a favorite container gardener specializing in color and texture of plants. |

Location: Mickman Brothers Garden Center, 14630 Hwy 65 NE, Ham Lake.
For centuries, wreaths have been considered a warm and welcoming invitation into the home and are symbolic of celebration and tradition. The staff at Mickman’s will show you how to create your own 10" Living Wreath using shade loving ivy and annuals. You will be able to hang or display your wreath outdoors in a shady area. Bring a big box to carry your project home, and a pair of gardening gloves, all other materials will be provided. |

Mickman’s staff will show you how to create beautiful containers using color, texture and form. You will choose from a selection of sun or shade annuals, and create your own container for your home. Bring a pair of gardening gloves and a trowel, all other materials will be provided. |

Minnehaha Creek, Minneapolis.
Join us for a private walking tour along Minnehaha Creek with herbalist Lise Wolff. Our tour will begin at 6:00 pm. We will meet at the corner of Bloomington Avenue South and East Minnehaha Parkway for a walking tour of medicinal plants that grow wild along the Creek.
