In honor of  the 100th anniversary of the department's Seminar Series (January 13, 1913) and the 125th anniversary of the founding of the department (1888).

 The event will be highlighted with an all-day, historic summary of the seminar and department's contributions to horticulture in Minnesota and around the globe. We will have guest speakers, historic summaries from current faculty and alumni, notes on the accomplishments of both the department and its alumni, a tour of the HRC (Horticultural Research Center) at the Arboretum, and a living timeline of the department.
