Maplewood Nature Center, 2659 East Seventh Street, Maplewood.
Ages 4-10 with adult, and children 11 or older. Meet live spiders and learn about webs and spider silk. Put together a spider identification book to take home. Hike to look for orb, funnel, jumping and crab spiders. Wear shoes suitable for hiking. Cost: $4/child. Prepay by August 9. Contact: 651-249-2170.
